"There are things in your life that only you will see, stories that only you will hear. If you don’t tell them or write them down, if you don’t make the picture, these things will not be seen, these things will not be heard." -- Emmet Gowin
A friend who lives there invited me to come to the first ever Beacon Hill Art Walk. "Art Walk! Sunny afternoon?" What's not to like about that? The walk was anchored in a small neighborhood park and the venues were the businesses along Beacon Avenue for a couple of blocks. We had a good time strolling through the shows even if nothing really blew my socks off. As I was about to wander over to the light rail station I saw this girl.

(Dialog) Me: Excuse me, miss. May I take your picture?
Her: Um, sure. What for?
Me: Because you look wonderful standing there with the sun behind you. Here's my card -- if I get a print I like I'll send you one.
Her: OK, what should I do"
Me: stand there! (click)
Alas, I never heard from her so couldn't send a print. Then when I got to the light rail station this was waiting for me. (click)

Emmet Gowin was right.
