Seattle's Pride Parade is one of the most elaborate in the country.  It outgrew its original site on Broadway several years ago and now monopolizes one of the main streets in the city with the parade ending at Seattle Center where the festival holds forth. 

 

Both parade and festival draw enormous crowds.  The parade and festival are an amalgam of advocacy for equal rights and respect, music and dance, and googy, off-beat fun.  I love it.
