Waiting at bay d

(Click on a thumbnail to enlarge it.)

I live on "the east side" but spend quite a bit of time poking around in Seattle.  Between insanely congested traffic and scarce parking it is usually quicker and always cheaper to take the bus rather than driving to the city.  Bay D in Seattle's downtown transit tunnel is where I usually catch the bus coming home.  This project started when I had a few frames left on a roll of film when I was ready to come home. Not all of these photographs are really at Bay D but "Waiting at Bay D" had a nicer ring to it than "Waiting for the Bus."

Sadly, this project is pretty much over -- if you take out a camera in the transit tunnel now the rent-a-cop will inform you tartly that "heightened security" prohibits taking pictures (of course that only applies to camera cameras -- cell phone cameras don't count).

There are currently 21 prints in this project.
